Swim Party!
Okay, this is at a church swim party and that is ROOT beer! I'd just never had a drink from a keg before, so I had to snap a shot! I really don't even drink soda pop!
This is me and James at the swim party. We splashed around and played in the kiddie pool like~ well, kids! It was really fun!
Oh, darn. I wish I was a little taller so I could go down the water slide! :)

This is a "fort" that my friend and I made while watching cartoons at a church function. It was like being a kid again!

This is a hike I went on with a friend of mine and his siblings. Fun!

One of my best friends graduated with her doctorate this past weekend. It was really awesome. She is one of the most amazing people on this earth.

At her graduation party, I was able to see some of my friends and their kids. Isn't he so cute?!?

The Family

Okay, so I just read an article my sister sent me through an email about how our religion is killing us by telling us to multiply and replenish the earth. It preached that it was "selfish" to have more than your allotted two offspring because of using too many of the earth's resources. Selfish? SELFISH? Tell me, sir Oliver "Buzz" Thomas, author of the article, which is more selfish, your definition of family with two children living off of probably TWO incomes, or my family with five children living off of one income? Which family is using more of the earth's resources, the kids taught that Mommy and Daddy (or her significant other) will buy them whatever they want, including a large home and three cars OR the family raised being taught to conserve and be frugal, and sacrifice? It seems as though the two spoiled kids have just learned to use MORE of the world's resources than the kids from a large family who-dare I say it-learned to share the family's and the earth's resources!
So those are my thoughts for today.

I'm still planning on having my four or five children.

CHICAGO!

I love Chicago!

So I went to Chicago this past little bit. It was awesome! I've never seen such big tall buildings, and so old, too! This is me by the Chicago River at night. It was pretty chilly, too, especially since it had been in the 80's and 90's in Arizona! I attended a free zoo for the first time in my life--honest, we just walked right in-- and got attacked by a lion paw!
